Strengthening community resilience to climate-related shocks and stresses in Kenya

This report presents findings, conclusions and recommendations of a qualitative study conducted between July and December 2018 on community resilience to climate-related shocks and stresses in Tharaka South and Tharaka North sub-counties2 of Tharaka Nithi County in Kenya. The International Aid Services Alliance commissioned the study with the aim of generating insights for better understanding of resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) in the study area where the organization has implemented water supply and livelihood projects for over 10 years.
