Gibson Mwaita, Programmme Manager, Kenya4Resilience Consortium (K4RC)

Gibson is a seasoned Program Manager, Consortium Manager, an educationist and a youth Programming specialist with over 11 years’ experience developing, managing and delivering health, education, livelihood, youth & women empowerment, resilience, leadership and governance programs. He has successfully formulated, effectively implemented and managed multi-donor funded programs for national and international NGOs in East Africa. This includes  those funded by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT); through SoTheyCan(STC),Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office(FCDO), Children Mission(CM), UNFPA, UNICEF, USAID, ERIKS, UNDP, Global Community Resilience and Engagement Fund(GCERF), The Walter Reed Project among others.

He is strongly skilled in resilience programming, results-based management, large grant and consortium management, networking, partnership building, and program monitoring & evaluation. 

 

 




Lilian Nyaga, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer, Kenya4Resilience Consortium (K4RC)

Lilian Nyaga is a result-driven professional with over 7 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and project coordination. Her competencies include; project management focusing on data management and monitoring of projects.

Previously, she has supported implementation of international grants including: Global Fund (GF) United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Ecosystem Services for Poverty Alleviation (ESPA).  

Lilian holds Bachelors in Computer Science from Kenyatta University and currently undertaking Masters in Monitoring and Evaluation at African Nazarene University. She also has a certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from AMREF training Institute.




Solomon Kiplimo, Financial Monitoring Officer (FMO), Kenya4Resilience Consortium (K4RC)

Prior to joining Children’s Mission Africa (CMA), CPA Solomon worked at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Pharma GmbH as a Finance Analyst (P2P&O2C) where he was proactively involved in the implementation of SAP ERP software, Tax analysis, Management Monitoring Audits and management of Inter-company activities.

He had also worked as a Finance Associate, Accounts Payables Accountant and Sales & AR
Accountant for African Economic Research Consortium(AERC) and Population Services, Kenya (PS Kenya) Formerly Population Services International(PSI) respectively.

Solomon holds a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) in Accounting and Business Finance from San Juan de la Cruz University, Costa Rica and a Diploma in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Advance Learning Interactive Systems Online(Alison), Ireland.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) through Strathmore University, Kenya , a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He is passionate about developing Internal controls and researching on Moral
Philosophy, Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

 

Children’s Mission Sweden (CM) through its Regional Office Children’s Mission Africa (CMA) is the Lead for the K4R Consortium and the Secretariat for K4R CoP.




Peris Namazi Azimale, Coordinator, Kenya4Resilience (K4R) Community of Practice (CoP)

Peris Namazi Azimale is a strong believer in layering,collaboration and co-creation of projects and partnerships.She has over 5 years experience in working on community development and service provision oriented projects.Plus over 1 year experience in working on peace projects geared towards the reduction of armed violence.

Azimale is experienced in programme management, work planning, budget development, report writing, implementing, and rapid response initiatives with a strong background in project management and beneficiary relations.

Peris holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Project Planning and management from the same university.

She previously worked with Free Pentecostal Fellow in Kenya (FPFK) on a Peace Project: The Armed Violence Reduction (AVR).She also worked as  a Project Manager with African Inland Church Health Ministries (AICHM) under CASE OVC and USAID Imarisha Jamii projects. These focused on the Health, Education,Economic Strengthening and Child Protection Matters of vulnerable communities in Turkana County.
